How do I connect with an SR Hickory Device?
In order to operate an SR Hickory Device you must first connect it with your Smartphone using Hickory Smart App. To do this, make sure your Smartphone Bluetooth is turned ON, the SR Hickory Device is powered ON, and that both devices are within direct operation range. Refer to the SR Hickory Device manual.
I am not able to Connect with an SR Hickory Device. What should I do?
- Make sure your Smartphone Bluetooth is turned ON, the SR Hickory Device is powered ON, and that both devices are within direct operation range.
- Turn OFF Bluetooth of your smart phone and Turn ON
- Now try to connect with SR Hickory Device again.
My iPhone® shows that the Bluetooth® is connected but the SR Hickory Device shows that the device is not connected.
This is an issue with the Bluetooth® functionality of your iPhone®. Turn the Bluetooth® off and then on from the Bluetooth® setting screen. Now try to re-connect your Bluetooth®. Please refer to your smartphone user manual for further information.
How do I connect again with SR Hickory Device after Factory Reset?
- Make sure your Smartphone Bluetooth is turned ON, the SR Hickory Device is powered ON, and that both devices are within direct operation range.
- Operate SR Hickory Device with Lock/Close or Unlock/Open or Status button using Home Screen Menu.
- Enter Serial # & Security Token either by using option - Scan QR Code or Enter Manually
- After providing valid info, you will be able to operate it again in same manner
How do I connect again with SR Hickory Device after Re-Installing the App?
- Delete or Remove yourself by login to SecuRemote Portal-->Users -->User Devices
- Download the Hickory Smart App to new phone and SIGN IN with Admin credentials
- Provide new user device name after SIGN IN.
- Hickory Smart App will automatically get list of your SR Smart devices and you will be able operate all the devices
Note: Only Admin user can SIGN IN and operate the SR Hickory Device again. If you are the user other than the Admin then please contact Admin and ask him to provide new INVITE Code
How Notification function will work?
This is to notify user if user has left SR Hickory Device left open. User will get alert message if he/she will go out of range from device and its status is in open mode.

How set location will work?
SR Smart will ask user to set current location for ranging. Depending on location, SR Smart will notify user if user has left SR Hickory Device open if user has enabled Notification switch. Please make sure that location service is turned on in smartphone
